ACTIVITIES OF THE CENTER

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY

Free coaching is given to needy students of class IX and X of local schools in English, Mathematics & Science by experienced teachers. Apart from test-papers and school-bags snacks are given on every Sunday.

SOCIAL WELFARE ACTIVITY

Blankets and dresses are distributed as relief to deserving persons including children of orphanages. On the first Sunday of every month volunteers clean the Mission complex. They also render various services during celebrations and conferences..

SPIRITUAL ACTIVITY

Aratrikam is performed every evening after which Sri Ramakrishna kathamrita is read. Devotees sit in meditation for ten minutes and spiritual talk follows.Sri Sri Kali puja is celebrated in image on the Kali puja evening.

HEALTH CARE

Homeo Dispensary functions thrice a week. More than ten thousands patients irrespective of caste and creed are treated annually , free of cost. Eye-Treatment is carried out once a month and besides free check-ups patients get free medicines .

Ashram History

Ramakrishna Mission, Bhubaneswar with Swami Stutyananda as its Head started this institution during Sri Ramakrishna Deva's 150th Birth Anniversary celebrations in 1985 and formed a group of devotees to run it as a private center.
